TaiG 2.3.0 is now available for download, but if you’ve already jailbroken your iOS device, then you won’t have to use this tool. If you’re just going to jailbreak your device, then you can download the latest TaiG 2.3 update and jailbreak iOS 8.1.3 – 8.4. Those who have already jailbroken using the previous version of TaiG 2.2, you can simply install the latest version of the taig download untether by launching Cydia and hitting the refresh button.
How to jailbreak iOS 8.4 with taig 2.3.0 jailbreak
TaiG team was first to release iOS 8.3 jailbreak tool, however, PP released the first tool to jailbreak iOS 8.4. TaiG quickly followed by releasing its own updated version for iOS 8.4 and if you are a fan of TaiG, there is no reason why you should move to any other solutions. iOS 8.4 is the last update until iOS 9 comes in September giving you plenty of time to enjoy your jailbroken iPhone, iPad and iPod touch until the newer OS comes. iOS 8.4 JB tool also makes it possible for you to enjoy Apple Music which wasn’t a possibility with iOS 8.3 as Apple’s music streaming service requires you to be on iOS 8.4.
Taig download step guide
Step 1: Before you start, please take a backup of your device, preferably using iTunes.
Step 2: Download the latest version of TaiG jailbreak from our TaiG Jailbreak download page on your computer, and unzip the zip file.
Step 3: Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable.
Step 4: Temporarily Disable Passcode from Settings > Touch ID & Passcode.
Step 5: Also temporarily turn off Find my iPhone from Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone.
Step 6: Please launch the application as an Administrator. Right click on the TaiG exe and select the “Run as Administrator” option.
Step 7: TaiG will take some time to detect your device. Once you confirm that it is showing the correct firmware version, deselect the 3K Assistant 2.3.0 (TaiG’s App Store), just below Cydia 1.1.18.
Step 8: Click on the green Start button to proceed. You will see the circular progress bar.
Step 9: After the jailbreak is complete, your device will reboot automatically, and you should see the Cydia icon on the Home screen. You'll be able to get cydia installer on homescreen.
